In the lands of Aea, humans have managed to create demigods through clandestine rights, leaving its nations at an uncomfortable stalemate, neither stronger than the other. But when a monster out at sea wipes out 2/3rds of their demigod forces, uncomfortable truths have to be faced, unsightly allies made and the wheels of political exploits begin to turn. How many must suffer before ideals are bent? What price is too high for power? Which secrets are best left untold?
